This was my final entry for the recent Master & Servant 2D challenge. It didn't win anything, but I was pretty happy with how it turned out considering it was only my 2nd attempt at digital art (the first being my Machine Flesh 2D challenge... but we won't go there, LOL).
This piece was ment to allude to the shaman's power over 2 servants: the little girl servant in awe of his magical abilities and the environment itself (even the weather bends to his will). I wanted this piece to be as much a landscape as a character painting (partly because I've never done a landscape painting in traditional or digital media).
Thanks so much for the kind and talented artist who encouraged me and gave me wonderfully constructive crits. I learned alot from this CG community... you guys are awesome!
